Hydrogen embrittlement on fracture resistance of low-alloy reactor pressure vessel steel with high dynamic strain aging at 288 °C

چکیده

• Hydrogen-induced softening of RPV steel with high DSA at 288 °C. Straining in DSA-regime induces plastic localisation and increased hydrogen-traps. HESIV HELP are dominant HE mechanisms active above-yielding post-necking stages, respectively. Fracture mechanics tests hydrogenated high-temperature water °C on low-alloy reactor pressure vessel dynamic strain aging (DSA) susceptibility revealed reduced fracture resistance, accelerated crack growth quasi-cleavage appearance than test air. by concur synergy °C, which was evidenced crack-tip microstructural characterisations.
